Newcastle now off

Postby Grumpy_Jimbo » Mon May 12, 2014 12:55 pm

"We're very, truly sorry to announce this... but unfortunately we're going to have to postpone the Newcastle show tomorrow night as Ian's voice is still not right, and as we said yesterday, you all deserve the best from us - and it's what this record deserves as well. We'll be rescheduling this for as soon as possible, but if you have any problems or questions, please contact your ticket seller and they can straighten everything out if there are issues with you attending the new date. We hope you understand. Again, our apologies and we'll see you very soon Newcastle."

Maybe he better take this week off to be ready for the Phil.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'

I agree with VB. Have a week off, Mac. The Philharmonic is the one that matters so you must look after yourself.

From a Selfish point of view I would like them to have a rest until Sheps Bush on Sat.....and then rest until Liverpool...
Even god has to soundcheck sometimes

Based on Mac's voice they'd have to take a decade off for it to sound good again.

Or how about.

Wonder what the cure is 2 packets a day and a few pints?

Poltergeist tour revisited. Half of the booked dates will end up being postponed.
Was reading the FB posts from people on the Newcastle thread. Nice reminder on why you should always buy refundable travel train tickets, hotel, etc (this specifically, but for anything I s'pose). Hope the show is still on for you GJ.
Wonder what kind of state they will all be in after the break. Might also be best to see them early on with these tours!

hopefully it is just a sore throat, or the 14 dates in 19 days in the USA are going to be a bit of a chore for all concerned.

Hopefully you've booked refundable to be on the safe side.
Was considering some other shows and it is a must to schedule that way or at least be happy with the destination you've picked in case something goes wrong.
