It hasn't got a keyboard solo at all, just a couple of strums and a tinkly piano at the start, and Mac's voice sounds far better. The released version was just so over produced.

yes! it's pretty much all from Wabbit Stew!

only 1 or 2 tracks i gotta check on...

simple stuff (percussion mix) [there's 2 simple stuff demos on wabbit stew so it could be one of those] and that ashes to ashes thing....haven't played it yet, but i heard it was only a few lines of it...then goes into a bunnymen tune...

all the rest are definitely from Wabbit Stew.

oh, and a lot of that stuff that's labelled 'Mac solo', i doubt it was Mac solo. they were all on Wabbit Stew too.......they were Bunnymen tracks. (a lot of them are just Mac doing the demos on acoustic 4 track) but definitely EATB tracks.

what's wabbit stew?
A kite is a contract of glory
that must be made with the sun,
so you make friends with the field
the river and the wind,
then you pray the whole cold night before,
under the travelling cordless moon,
to make you worthy and lyric and pure.

A couple quick questions, then:

1 - Was the 4CD remaster ever distributed widely? Does anyone know if a non-mp3 torrent exists? Not to get TOO picky over remasters from cassette (since they're probably MP3 quality ANYWAYS)... just curious.

2 - On the subject of demos (I've been digitizing my Bunny collection to take to work so noticing weird discography stuffs) - I saw ONE listing on ONE page (don't remember where now - was a blog with, I think) that suggested there was a 4-track version of Mac's Love In Veins single with the first track as a Demo of the title and the last being a Demo of Baby Hold On... anyone know if this was official or someone just cobbled it from alt. sources?

Thanks all!
