Whoa the guitars in The Killing Moon (Electric Plug Mix) version are giving me a partial.

Thanks Canon. It almost makes up for the porn being taken down.

Thanks Brian.

Considering all of this stuff is free, I guess I shouldn't complain!

am I doing something wrong? I'll download a file at rapid share, then when I go to download the next one, it'll say I have to wait 95 minutes (or 35 or whatever it deems necessary) before I can download the next one.

That's what I had to do. So I just downloaded the other files in the meantime.

no, you are technically only allowed one download if you aren't a paid user. i found out earlier when i got 1 part and tried to get the other part. only it didn't tell me i had to wait any amount of minutes-- it just said i had already reached my download limit for free users. so i wasn't sure if that meant you were only allowed 1 per day, or 1 period! so i was going to go back tomorrow, but i went back about 1/2 hour later just for the hell of it and it let me download the other half in like 1.8 mins! hehehee cool! try tomorrow, you may be able to do it right away. :-)

But I'm not complaining because I'm getting a bunch of FREE music.

Have you ever tried to download from RapidShare? Sometimes it's an exercise in extreme patience.

yes, just today! (see my last post) but i never had it tell me the file wasn't available after i waited. maybe try again tomorrow?

crap. a new wrinkle. it says all the files are encrypted and it wants a password. what the hell does that mean? and do I have to buy RAR software to listen to these downloads? I had it on a free trial, and now it's up.

the password is in the very first post in this thread....(or at least the first post about this particular download)

it's: geantvener

....and don't bother about winrar....mine ran out a year ago and i still use it! hehehe just close that box when it pops up, and tell it to extract anyway! it works!

(you don't need winrar to listen, just to unzip the files)

thanks, Red! I missed that one.

I've been ignoring that "buy WAR" box for months now, but never ran across an encrypted one till now.

same here. but i think that's nothing to do with winrar, i think it's the way it was set up on rapidshare...the user gets to say who can download the music, i think.

and yer welcome.

it appears, as with that other download that was all on Wabbit Stew, that almost none of these are anything that isn't already around either. i passed the link on to someone else because upon first listen (and i only listened twice while doing a lot of other things online) i didn't think i recognized a lot of it.....

but --

it appears that some of it is on the Evergreen x 2 cd set, (which i just recently got ahold of, and haven't played much, so i didn't remember it) ...and/or are Peel sessions, and from other radio stuff, and Watch Out Below is on cd 2 of the box set (which i haven't played since it came out!!! hey, it was buried where i couldn't reach it! ) and so my friend is very disappointed that i got hopes up for nothing! :frown:

so most of it really isn't anything new.
why can't people label this stuff properly and say where it really comes from??????

i guess the only thing i gained from DLing these is knowing that i should be playing my *odd* stuff more often, rather than the 1st 4 original cds all the time!
