Pixies did something similar about 8 years ago. Recording would be available for purchase immediately following the show. They were pretty good as I recall.

It's a way of making quick money. I'd drop some cash on good to excellent soundboards.

Fugazi did it too and I'd appreciate the opportunity to do the same with the Bunnymen. They're taking my money, $5 a pop.

I made the recommendation to the guys at Public Image Limited a few months ago and this is what they replied:

"It was something we looked at a long time ago, but unfortunately there are too many former members who would presume they would be owed a fortune from it. Yes as unbelievable as that sounds, that's the way it is with them."
