does anyone have any live mac solo bootlegs, except the black sessions?
A kite is a contract of glory
that must be made with the sun,
so you make friends with the field
the river and the wind,
then you pray the whole cold night before,
under the travelling cordless moon,
to make you worthy and lyric and pure.

Why yes -- I found the Black Sessions on the web here. Are there really two of them one being in 1992?

red told me about a myspace profile that has some rare acoustic songs on it. i had never heard them... and it is being advertised as an Ian McCulloch solo site (obviously made by some fan) but a lot of the songs are Flowers-era bunnymen tracks with mac singing along to an acoustic guitar (i'm assuming he is also playing the guitar)

anyone know where these tracks are from?? it notes that "heavens gate" is from the black session disc, but unsure where the others come from, i don't think they are B-sides....

any ideas???

No idea where those are from Blinki. Thanks for the link, though.

Electrafixion did a full Black Session, too. Don't know if they played "Never" twice.

The "Flowers"-era stuff is probably from the coke binge.. err, I mean "promotional tour" to Brazil Mac took without Will, with Pete Byrne accompanying him on acoustic guitar.
