Will keep an open mind and report back later.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Working all day in front of a computer with iTunes and 20,000 + songs sometimes kicks ass.

Okay I committed to listening to all 42 versions of the Killing Moon first. Heaven Up Here Will come after that.

You need to get a journal.

That's about 41 versions too many.

I prefer to call it my diary.

I am pretty sure HUH was the first Bunnymen album I heard in its entirety. It was a couple of years after it came out when me and my friends living in the Midwest suburbs finally discovered this hidden world of music.

I thought you midwest types were into heavy metal and worshiping Satan.

True but when I heard a grown man weep while singing "you said something will change...you promised" that all changed.

Dear Diary,

Show of Strength kicks ass. Nothing new there.
Withahip wasn't unpleasant.
Over the Wall could use a melody.
The less said about It Was a Pleasure the better.
Still like A Promise even if Mac goes a bit overboard on the vocals.
I really do like Heaven Up Here.
I prefer the live version of The Disease.
Will never again listen to All My Colours after being described as a "Gentle Celtic breeze"
No Dark Things is best song on the album and one of my all time Bunnymen favorites.
Sorry Billy but I am still no fan of Turquoise Days (the song). Love the book.
Not really digging All I Want.

I think my problem with Heaven Up Here is music atmospherics and textures don't register with me. I need a strong melody or hook to appreciate a song. I can see what people like about Heaven Up Here but it just doesn't connect fully with me.

Dump the diary Black Francis, you're no Anne Frank.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'
