My commentary about the Mac's voice, was only to say that the cigarettes are not good for a singer, just that.

independent of personal opinions of one show or other .

my question is relative to the four live recordings,

anybody who has listened to it, can emit opinion

I've gotta say, I was very disappointed in the one I bought, I think it was the San Fran one. Cool idea, but Mac's vocals were pretty bad. I've only listened to it a couple times. It really seems like the Bunnymen are hit or miss live these days.

There is a really cool live version of Rust on Youtube right now. Will's guitar is great on it. I think it was from a couple months back.

As crappy as his vocals were at Hollywood he never came across as not trying. I suspect the condition of his voice is what kept him from doing Ocean Rain. I had a recording of the San Diego show somewhere and he was in much better form that night.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
