US Tour Good News & Bad News.......

Postby Grumpy_Jimbo » Fri Dec 24, 2010 1:02 am

Mac was briefly on BBC Radio 5 early this morning talking about his 2010 and plans for 2011......

He said personally 2010 has been one of his best years ever, whatever that means....??

On his plans for 2011 he said the Bunnymen were planning to do a US tour in 2011, sadly not the Crocodiles / Heaven Up Here Show but a joint tour with The Manic Street Preachers... Which would likely mean a 60 minute greatest hits show.......

Hopefully if this happens they might try and fit in a few Croc/HUH dates on the tour.....

Three words - War Of Independence.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

No, but Mac obviously is! I blame Frank.

After seeing their Croc/HUH show, a 60 minute greatest hits set list would be a major letdown.

Who would take the stage first? Is EATB becoming a warmup band?

It IS kind of a disappointment since, literally everyone has been begging for the Crocs/HUH to be done here.

What kind of songs would it be? Same old SOS? Boring...plus, many people might not even go since they were kind of "depending" on it to be the Crocs/HUH tour. I mean, us Americans are dirt poor now so, be frivolous with our $ following them around might make them lose business too.

I guess they owe the Manics or else because Mac was involved they count that as a contribution.

We'll see where the wind blows the bunnies. Let's hope it's not back to Kansas (if you get my drift).

But the good news is, if they're doing an hour long greatest hits set (which they could do in their sleep) over there, they can concentrate on preparations for the UK Porcupine tour.

What was the good news again?

I'm just hoping for a new album in 2011 by Will at this point.

What's the good news?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
