Villiers Terrace

Postby JackT » Mon Oct 22, 2007 9:07 am

I was never a huge fan of the album track, but I LOVE the Play at Home version and the original pre-Pete version.

I'm listening to all the versions I have in honor of the new forum.

(Withahip, I know you don't own any of the first 4 albums, so to bring you up to speed, "Villiers Terrace" is a track off of Crocodiles, the band's first album. Check it out!)

Where did you get the Play at Home version from Jack? I must have missed this.

It's the one on Life at Brian's.

That one's excellent indeed, made me realize what a great song it actually is.

The album version is one of the few Bunnymensongs I don't really like. The the backing vocals are the reason. But the song has grown to be one of my live favourites!

That whole Play at Home show was great! I've always liked it. Best bootleg video tape I ever invested in back in the 80's!
