Post-WAYGTDWYL fantasy album

FC's idea, but hey.

Anyway mine...

Picked some of my "favourites" others just stuck in to try put it in some form of order for an album that can be listened to and run neatly from tracks 1-11(?) There were a few others, but I couldn't think where to put them. Forgotten Fields would be fine to start the album, but Fish Hook Girl pipped it to the post. I guess though a compilation album would have more than 11 tracks. Nothing whatsoever off Flowers.

1. Fish Hook Girl
2. Of A Life
3. In the Margins
4. Just A Touch Away
5. Empire State Halo
6. Too Young To Kneel
7. Watchtower
8. Siberia
9. Sideways Eight
10. Everlasting Neverendless
11. Fools Like Us

several of these songs are from Evergreen and WAYGTD and Fish Hook is a WAYGTD b-side, I thought the idea was to form a Flowers/Siberia/Fountain comp to make one good album?

Was it? But then I would have come up with a Bunnymen ep instead or most of it being Siberia with maybe a few tracks off The Fountain chucked in for the lark of it. That one I'll leave to FC as I become like superman coming into contact with kryptonite when listening to two of those albums. I also don't want to drop to the floor in the fetal position as I might damage my computer.

Not possible.

The only good song from The Fountain is "November" and that was a b-side.

1. Flowers
2. In The Margins (!)
3. Scissors In The Sand
4. November

It's more like an EP.

rap. I've dropped myseklf in it haven't I? Sure you dont want to slip flaming red in there evils? Anyway my first go - just from picking the 'best' off each album, though I'm not sure GP is right here. Not sure this works and dont have the b-sides here. Will load up the pod tpnight and dedicate tomorrows soundtrack to a very dull but suprisingly well paid job of work to creating the listing. Of course I might get bored and give it all up. Plus - theres the title. Is it going to stick to the spirit and be a combination, a best of as it were, like The Flibertain, or Fousiber. Or just after the best track. hmmmm.November?? That being onemonth after a famous U2s album.

Parthenon Drive

Sideways Eight

All Because of You Days
Of a Life
Scissors In the Sand
In the Margins
Life of 1000 Crimes
Avalanche
An Eternity Turns (coulda been so much more. I bet it sounded good live.)
I'll Fly Tonight
Rust (the chorus-less version)
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

It seems like this should include:

Avalanche
Flowers
Siberia
The Fountain

and all related b-sides from those albums which is everything from 2000 forward from the past 10 years

Not sure if we should include Slideling since it's Mac solo even though it is a Bunnymen line-up without Will

We should include Slideling even though it sucks and I will not be selecting any songs from that album.

I have knocked up some artwork for you and we are in business. Expect to see it - The Flibertain - in your local supermarket's bargain basket no doubt.

I don't see any unintentional typos on that so obviously this is a fake

It's real enough and nothing to do with the official, so we don't do typos here.

Definitely his worst solo album, IMO. BUT, Stake Your Claim is pretty good, IMO, and ironically more rocking than probably half the post-reunion Bunnymen songs.
