Silverfish - The Film

If they made a film about the life story of the Bunnymen what actors would be best to play the leading roles for the start of thier carrer and the end of their carrer.

Not for getting other imortal charaters from the time of erics, Pete Burns, Pete Whylie, Julian Cope, Bill Drummond, Dave Balife.................................

Skander Kenyes - 18 year old actor (Edmund from LW&W) would be a good choice for the young McCulloch

Watching Anton Corbijn's Control last week, I thought at the time that a Bunnymen-themed film would be a great idea. But where would it start and where would it end? Actually, it'd be quite boring and even it was on the scene at Erics there wouldn't be much you could do with it. One centring totally on Pete de Freitas' life would be probably be the only really interesting take. My guess that there'd be more that could be covered in that than there was in Control.

it'd start with a triple split screen: will taping funny sounds off the telly, les comng out of the boatyard and buying a new jumper for jeff lovestone and mac sitting in his room squinting at a velvets album cover whilst furiously backcoming his barnet. and it's end with pete dying. with those simple truths as bookends the rest could be fantasy. I'd have Mike Leigh directing just to give it an air of light fluffy comedy.

And cast Jennifer Aniston as the band's annoyingly cute love interest and you have got another box office smash romcom on your hands. I think we're onto something here.

No. All of Jennifer Aniston's movies bomb.

Same for Kate Hudson.

Cast Angelina Jolie instead. She does the heroin look well. Or that girl from the Twilight movies. I don't know her name.

Paolo Nutini is a dead ringer for young Mac.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Do all of Jennifer Aniston's film bomb? I thought Marley and Me did well at the box office, even if it was over a relatively short time. Can't be arsed to look up the gross revenue for such an awful film.

Of course, if it is purely about the $$$$ then being about the Bunnymen would be pointless. Who the hell would want to see that? Maybe they could have a cameo. Some cultish comic book genre film with Mac appearing as a misunderstood ninja.

Yes, that's the one. I think she's very popular with the younger set.

Would she be cast as the U.K. groupie or U.S. groupie? I wonder if she can do a British accent.

Stay away from Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Hudson. Box office poisons.

Can I get a photoshop of Al Pacino with Mac's hair? I really think this would work.
