Gregorian Chant

Why do the bunnys use it to open their set?

Goes well with the dry ice admittedly.

But isn't it a bit old hat?

I've heard Mac called a few things on here but monk was never one of them.

I think it was something that Pete started way back. I don't know that anyone else is doing that. Interesting question to ask at some point.

Does this explain the ever-present goddam hoodie? And the ripped jeans?

German punk band Die Toten Hosen used Gregorian Chant as an intro for years in the late eighties/early nineties.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

For a while, they also used the theme from the film "Get Carter" then they switched back to the chants.

Apparently took the vow of poverty up until 1982 when the band started making some money. Returned to poverty in the 1990s. No more taking the Lord's name in vain. I think he's cool with poverty, but chastity, well, ahem. He can still sing in public, though.

I think they used "Teddy Bears Picnic" during the Electrafixion era. As an audience member, I liked "Get Carter" the best - got me geared up.

they did. its even on the live 'b' sides for the sister pain triple single. wow. those were the days when you could get a triple single - if thats not an oxymoron. though, for all those people who like to be strictly strict out there, they were electrafixion then, and not the buns. triple single. wow.

chez
ps edited for spellings purposes. still not too sure - you know when you look at a word and cant make your mind up?
