the 'lost tapes' were stolen by a little know men called chris martin and johnny buckland, who then used the songs to gain mid-indie chart success with a band called cold-play

was that before or after chris martin went thru bono's trash can for discarded U2 song ideas? at least, that's my brother's theory

no he just listened to the majoirty of u2s albums, (excluding actung baby which is far beyond anything coldplay could write)
