Will & Ian's Advice for Your Life...

Postby DivaDiana77 » Wed Dec 23, 2009 4:32 am

The band, CAKE has an advice column on their site... What if Will & Ian had one???

http://www.cakemusic.com/you.html

They also encourage people to carpool to their shows and are producing their latest album with "100% solar energy.". What a hoot.

Meanwhile Will Sergeant on Live Aid: "They asked us and we were more than happy to say no."

Equally a hoot. though I sort of wish they had done that over the Football song with the fecking Spice Girl.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

Eddie Murphy said the same thing about being asked to be on the We Are The World song.

John Oates, however, said yes.

I think it was just his mustache. They have since parted ways.

Purely for the "We Are The World" disagreement or was it a deeper loathing?

The mustache felt that he was carrying John and this was just another thing causing resentment between the two. It was just time to move on.

Yes, but I want their advice for what I'm going to do with my life, etc. I was trying to think that there might some evil gems out there--mainly coming from Ian.

Right. I rather like the song when I imagine it's not EATB, though I think it would sound better if some other band were singing it like say, mine. Easy chords.

I'm gonna be me, be me, be me.

I'd like to go back to discussing John Oates' fine fine mustache.

What are you gonna do with your facial hair?

Gonna shave it, shave it, shave it...

Seriously, shaving hair and growing it seems to cause some controversy in bands, now doesn't it?
