Yes, long concert for an old guy--even for a young guy. Finger will bleed, heads will roll.

I think it works out because he is performing under his name rather than performing as the band.

Ian playing a solo show already...Why?

A). Will came to his senses and finally left
B). Another US Tax story (couldn't afford the rest of the band)
C). Putting out the hat to recoup losses from Ocean Rain Orchestra charges
D). Shuffle and Jive to sell a sub-par album
E). Sign some contracts, run the promotions circuit
F). Do You Know Who I Am? (keepin it relevant)

Redgumball--you're not too convincining as anti-Mac with that lovely picture of...wait, is that Mac as your avatar??

It has to do with the taxes and promoting the album. And let's face it, sub par for the Bunnies is still good. (Unless it involves the Spice Girls)

Is he really playing for 26 hours? Golly, that won't be a greatest hits setlist then as he'll run out of songs. Shame, that might be actually worth seeing.

I have a sneaky feeling there may be other people playing besides Mac.

That's the same deal as when he toured for Slideling wasn't it?

I imagine the tax thing doesn't apply here since this is not publicized as Echo & the Bunnymen and it's free.

I imagine him being mad that he missed his Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the fixins so he's back to do some Christmas shopping at Macy's and go ice skating at Rockefeller Center.

I have come catch Another Train, Mr Sergeant
It's no use to ask me why, Mr Sergeant
There's a murmur in the air, and I Know You Well
It is the time to sail The Cape do and dare, Mr Sergeant

Don't you hear the Vibor Blue at Heavens Gate, Mr Sergeant
Sounding through the Seasons, Mr Sergeant
'Tis the tramp of Bunnymen In Bloom
I must Close Your Eyes, Mr Sergeant

Goodbye William I’m In Bloom and though it breaks my heart to go
Something tells me I must Stake My Claim and go solo
See, the Bunnymen in the Fountain are marching and I can no longer stay
Hark, I hear Heavens Gate calling, Goodbye Mr Sergeant

Hear the rolling of the drums, Mr Sergeant
Back from Playgrounds and City Parks, Mr Sergeant
Proud to Fall, I can see The Flickering Wall
For my Horses Head is not there, Mr Sergeant

For the one you love so well, Mr Sergeant
In the midst of Seasons I fell, Mr Sergeant
With Faith and Healing, and Damnation
"I must say goodbye and Start Again, Mr Sergeant "

Goodbye William I must leave you, and go to a Magical World
Something tells me I am needed at The White Hotel
See, the Bunnymen In My Head are marching and I can no longer Love in Vein
Hark, I hear the Kansas calling, Goodbye Mr Sergeant

Oh, uber fan that you are, when I compare it to much of what I hear, I found myself liking it. But that's only when I don't compare it to the glory days of Ocean Rain and prior.

Sorry, fingers are fumbling.

Tequila takes its toll.

I've listened to the best of both worlds tonight, Van Halen and The Bunnymen. 316 and Me, I'm All Smiles for the first time. Completely blown away.
