This song is the most vanilla crap I've ever heard. Pete is the best thing on it.

Let's face it, post Bunnymen, they all got into crap projects/bands.

The whole was so much greater than the individual parts.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

I submit that Will solo is pretty bad ass.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I would like to hear it. His sound check sounded like manna from heaven.

That's a pretty sweeping statement. The Colourfield album with Pete (on some tracks) wasn't post-Bunnymen, it was released in '85 when he was still with the Bunnymen. If you're referring to their projects outside the Bunnymen you should listen to some of the following:
Pete: Wild Swans' "Revolutionary Spirit", Sex Gods/Balcony Dogs, DTC (there is some live stuff knocking around)
Will: Glide, Family of God's "Follow the Lights", The Serpents, Reverb, Wild Swans live
Mac: "Candleland", "Mysterio"
Les: Wild Swans today
Jake (and occasionally Will): Bom
The fine Mac-less Reverberation and the even finer "Prove Me Wrong" and "Inside Me, Inside You" singles from the same period.

There's a lot of good stuff there that's really worth hearing.

Will's solo stuff is probably better than the new Bunnymen stuff. If you throw in the Serpents, it's a no-brainer.

If you can find the Serpents album, get it! It's a great album. I wish they would make another album but seeing how there was about 40 people on the first album I doubt it's going to happen.

Indeed they were.

I have to disagree about the crap side projects; Electrafixion's "Burned" is on heavy rotation on my iPod. They should have kept that band going for at least another album.

They should put some of those tunes in their live set.
