He's harking it around is he...

Hark! Hark! Tis ye olde Pleasure Principle Tour!
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

The crucial question though. Is he playing one-off shows of The Pleasure Principle in its full entirety with full synthesizers?

If he has 'busty wenches' dancing behind him I might be tempted to go.

With their back catalog, the recovery of Mac's voice and decent session men, the band need never write a decent song again. They have proved well into middle age they can still write classics if they make the effort. My problem is the set-list. With such treasure at their disposal-In Bluer Skies, Flaming Red, No Dark Things ect...why do they repeat songs that are merely average by their standards?

no, i think koks found his niche, but you see what i mean. never mind the back catalogue why not just push the new album - start to finish and a quick encore of a couple of favourites. i read s tory about that neil young, and no idea how true it is but he supposedly once insisted on playing the whole of a new albunm from start to finish and promised, that if they were patient and stop yelling for the old stuff, once he'd finished he'd come back and play 'something they'd heard before'. so he does that, and came back on and played the new album again. worra larf. cos you see..... get it? No idea if its true but you know. why bother.

Come on Mac you bitch-I want the MEAT! (Flaming Red, Razors Edge, In Bluer Skies, No Dark Things...) as opposed to the mushy peas and boiled potatoes being served up now.

I'd be happy for them to play an acid jazz version of 'There's No-one Quite Like Grandma' if it meant I didn't have to listen to Lips Like Sugar again.

Can't do that. Haven't the St Willyshit Choir reformed or something? The Greatest Comeback Since.... Clive Dunn singing Grandad.

The setlist looks really short now, an hour... an hour and a half? You'd think with their back catalogue that they'd be doing a two, two and half hour show. That would give them more than sufficient time to add more new and old stuff.

Maybe someone could give him a chair?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
