no, i don't have a Mac..........and i HATE HATE HATE web based email!!! can't even have any of those w/out comcast! hahaha

Dr Cheese, Comcast is like Orange, or blueyonder, etc....it's the cable high speed internet provider. Comcast is still better than EarthStink, anyday!

I believe the are firstly a cable television company, having branched out into internet later.

and besides........Orange does phones too and other stuff besides internet, like Comcast......so they're sorta alike! :mrgreen:

can't get Verizon anything (or EarthStink broadband, because they use verizon locally) in my area, the local phone company has the rights, so we had to go with cable internet and Comcast has the rights in that department. so i really have no choice! ggrrrr
