1981 Australian show on dimeadozen

Postby Mr. Brian » Mon May 25, 2009 9:53 am

This was broadcast on FM and then ripped from the vinyl bootleg. Four songs were removed by the uploader because they appear on the HUH remaster, so if you enjoyed those songs this is the rest of the show. Here is the DimeADozen entry and link:

I've copied this vinyl bootleg during my earlier radios years (about 84) in the studios of Radio-Bellevue 94.9
4 songs from the original australian FM broadcast have been deleted from this recording
Show Of Strength - The Disease - All I Want - Zimbo
cause the were released on a cd reissue of "Heaven-Up-Here" in 2003 ... see http://www.discogs.com/Echo-And-The-Bun ... ase/638386.
This show is widely circulating on internet trade lists but i did not find any trace of previous uploads of this show on the Yahoo bot .... it's not a proof, i know !!
If you have a better source, don't hesitate to seed it ... merci !

Thanks Mr Brian......I was at this show!

It was such a long time ago that I can only remember bits and pieces of it, (it was hot and stuffy inside and I'd consumed something that didn't agree with me, so I spent half the night watching/listening from the beach outside), so it would be great to hear it all again.

Unfortunately I have never got the hang of BitTorrents - I've tried a few times without luck - it just seems too technical for me and my Mac.
So I'm wondering if some kind soul out there would/could put it somewhere I understand - like Rapidshare - so I can download it easily?

I'm trying to think of some clever quip about positive karma here, but it's much too late at night for me right now.

Anyway, it would be greatly appreciated by me.

Thanks.

Frank! Or Torrent Bitch! (as we in the sailing community call him)

Work your magic bee-yotch.

And tell your mom hi for me.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Track 4 is actually "Pride" not Do It Clean. Whoever made the torrent mislabeled it.

There's a copy of this show on Megauplaod:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PVPYUFYG

The sound is somewhat "muddy", Ian's voice distant. I don't know if that's due to this particular recording in circulation or if that's the best for this 1981 show. If there's a better one out there, please don't hesitate to share it with the site members. Or for those with talant, how about trying your hand at remastering this copy?

Post'em if ya got'em!!
