Perusing the official forum as they have gone back to the (what I consider) standard posting order and I came across this.

He insinuates that the "threat" was associated in some way with this forum.

He is only threatened by this forum is in that it is better than the official one. Because interesting questions are asked.

Even if this were true, what does that have to do with this site? It's not like this site chooses it's members and one person reflects this site a whole. I'm not even sure why it would be worth mentioning except to stir up hatred toward this site and it's members.
The whole point of this forum was to have an alternative to the official site given the circumstances at the time.
I've said this before but I thought it would last one week until the official site came back but people stayed and here we are over a year later. Obviously people like this site and some may prefer the official site or both of them but I don't see any reason to use the alleged comments of one person in an e-mail to Peter a reason to condemn this site or it's members.
I never wanted this to be an "us vs. them" situation, ever. I just wanted a forum where people could speak freely about any any topic without being edited or censored whether it's vulgar language or a band members alleged drug use.
