I was under the impression that it did not sell out. Very full, but not sold out.

I recall when this was first announced someone stated that they thought that was going to be very empty in the balconies. I'm glad that was not the case.

Don't know about RCH but I know ECHO arena was not sold out as I spoke with one of the managers on the night and she said it was about 1,000 short of a sell out

the spin magazine feature (dec 08 issue) and that Flaunt magazine from a little while ago had some recent photos of both of them. not sure why they didn't include any in the 30th anniv special thing...

I haven't been bothered to read the 30th anniversary spread given the format (I can't get the hang of getting the damn thing on the page without it jumping up and down and in and out) and I can't figure out how to download it.

Yet, I managed to navigate to the last page. If I'm not mistaken, there's no mention of the fact they're no longer with Warners and that now the new album has been delayed at least a year. Also, the whole thing smacks of such a fluff p.r. piece. While I don't expect hard hitting journalism in a retrospective, the overreaching glossiness of stuff like this is puke inducing.

This is the exact type of poetic waxing and careful positioning of the truth that has occurred with this band since the beginning. To keep the bullshit meter at high for 30 years is actually pretty amazing. I believe I'm impressed.

Yeah I wasn't expecting anything but a little butt smooching piece for the 30th anniversary article and that's what we got. There's a time and place to be critical (Turquoise Days I thought was great at going over the good and bad) and I understand why the 30th anniversary piece was the Larry King of articles. Couldn't they have got some bigger names to give glowing quotes about the Bunnymen? And those congratulatory ads reminded me of my high school yearbook.

Speaking of Turquoise Days how come Chris Adams hasn't been banned from the site? I seem to recall a cocaine mention or two.
