That pic is from Roscoe's, the purported "inventors" of chicken & waffles, so I don't know about it not being the real way

Then again, I googled waffles and chicken - maybe the person was a pussy and didn't want to mix the two.

I'm from the west coast.
They still don't do biscuits or chicken fried steak right out here... guess we can't expecte them to do this out here yet
