Wow awesome collection. I only have the Milano picturedisc, but it is the most interesting thing I have. Looking back it's amazing people bothered to produce vinyl bootlegs.

I have this Italian bootleg from the early 80's that I still have around somewhere.

Those things were always dodgy. You never knew what they were going to sound like until you bought it. I remember always being disappointed with the quality of those. At least in digital you can preview songs and decide if you want to bother with it.

This is a listing from "Hot Wacks Book XII." I think it came out in December 1987. I asterisked the ones I have.

Arrogance - Live 1985
Echo & The Bunnymen - Live Nov. 1980*
Italian Concert (Black & Yellow Cover)*
Milano - 18/5/1984*
Now And Then - Eric's Liverpool Sept. 1979*
Over The Wall - Tokyo Jan. 1984*
Some Kind Of Meaning - Rome Feb. 1983
What's Up Doc? Live In The Carrot Patch

I also have the following on vinyl:

Turquoise Days - Birmingham Odeon Oct. 1984
Italian Concert (Clear Vinyl)
Echo & The Bunnymen - BBC (1979-1980) and YMCA London 1979

Also, I have the Glastonbury 1985 and the Sweden 1985 shows on cassette. But I don't think they're the complete shows.

The Sweden show is where they came on first and did cover versions, right? Isn't there a complete pressing of that part of the show? I was never able to find that when I went record store shopping. Now I can't be bothered tracking it down.

Yup, that's the Milano picture disk. It says it's a limited edition of 300 copies, but everyone seems to own it. LOL!

Yes I have harbored the same suspicions.

I have the Sweden one on cassette tape too. My husband bought it in a record shop in Boston in the late 1990's. Mine has 18 tracks and it seems like the whole show. It certainly looks like a bootleg and there are a few seconds of silence right in the middle of Killing Moon. It is a great live show though - I love Angels and Devils on it. The covers are good too.

I don't have any vinyl bootlegs , just the official releases on vinyl, mostly imports, that I bought back in the day.

That sounds like the same one I have. The first six tracks are covers. I just checked with the track listing on Crystal Days and all of those tracks but one (Midnight Hour) are also on the box set. Plus the box set has a few more tracks (covers) from that show. I always wondered if the covers only were released in their entirety by themselves.

i only have the barbed wire and camoflage one personally, but am amazed that the eric's 79 gig is a vinyl bootleg...

it was my mate neil who actually recorded this and i was with him... it was a matinee show and after interviewing the bunnymen for his fanzine he recorded the gig (and the teardrops gig same afternoon)... in fact will set up the tape recorder through the mixing desk.. what a nice fella!

anyway if you ever get the chance get a copy.. it is fucking great!

men and machine... absolutely dandy (j.peel 1979)[/b]
