In my native land, we had a show called "Green Acres" which was very similar.

I really hated the TV show but my ex took me to the live show and to be honest it was fecking great, one of the best comedy nights I ever went to.........

Have to say the main reason am going to the Liverpool Show is it will almost certainly be my last chance to see the Bunnymen headline a show on a big stage with hopefully a shit hot light show and huge kick ass PA ....... Or am I being to optimistic or pessimistic ????

We keep it pessimistic over here.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I already have a ticket for RAH, and the only way personally that I'd go again, if it was something unusual. I don't know, I wouldn't mind taking a trip over to the States say in 2009 and seeing it again. That would be different rather than sticking to UK venues. Hmmm...

I'm going cos I'm not going to RAH - couldn't be bothered to trek to London on a Tues, which sounds lame when theres people prepared to travel from America etc for it.
I wonder how many brits/europeans would travel to America to see them ???
If I was on holiday in America and they happened to be touring I'd make the effort to go, but I wouldn't make a special trip just to go to a concert.
You are all dedicated fans to be coming over - especially if any of you are coming over twice in such a short space of time.

I would go, but it'd have to be as part of a holiday.

Bloody hell - push the boat out Dave! Who said Rock N Roll was dead?
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

At the Xmas gigs I took him to the Ship & Mitre which has 150 different beers.

He drank Guinness.

Last time I had an ice cream at a gig was at the V Festival a few years back. The only lager on sale was Bud which I hate.Starting at twelve and six pints later I was in total love with Nina from The Cardigans.Decide to celebrate with an ice cream and wander over to another tent.Walk in to catch N-sync starting up.Feel queasy, rush outside and throw up to the strains of shite R'n'B.Always blamed the ice cream myself.

re Xmas-if the bleedin barmaids in Liverpool could understand my standard english accent I'd have gone for the ridiculous apothacare utensil mind altering sludge that Scouser had.But they didnt.
