Who've you been drunk by then?
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time

I was at the meetup, saw everything and have no qualms naming names.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

That is also part of the appeal of this place plus there's no self image and relationship crises forum here either. It all just seemed to go downhill sharpish.

Plus Mr. Brian rarely lies to us and it's only those "do I look fat in this dress?" type lies so we forgive him. He lies out of love.

First I asked for a refund and got a mail back lickety-split saying that I had to send them the Paypal confirmation mail "as was stated in the news section ...." - how remiss of me not to have read their mitherings in detail.

After all the snooty "too glad to give a refund", "within the hour" blah blah. I heard nothing and no money was remitted to my account. A few days later I mailed asking when I could expect reimbursement.
Two days after that I got a snotty mail stating that the money had been transferred on 30 April as per my instruction. There was definitely a, "so there!!" between the lines.
There was a section of a paypal page pasted into the mail with a box showing that € 31,50 had been transferred from an unknown source to some bloke called Michael Beuss
I wrote back to say that I knew no Mr Beuss and I still hadn't received the money. Couple of days later "oh sorry sent the wrong details. Will mail the correct ones as soon as possible. The previous correspendence was from the, "Merchandising Team" This mail had a footnote saying: sent from the iPhone please do not respond, Peter Allen. By this stage I was rolling around on the floor - he'd forgotten to change hats!
It also had an address line saying something about being a family room manager  go figure!
At that point I sent a request for payment via Paypal suggesting that this might be easier.
Again a couple of days passed and I received notification from Paypal that 1. payment had been made and 2. Echo and the Bunnymen had cancelled my payment request.

As I've said before, if he were slightly humbler, it wouldn't be at all bad. I just don't think anyone who cocks things up with such a level of consistency should be so bloody self-righteous.

Ha ha nice. High five on that one. Totally uncalled for slam. Like all of a sudden punching somebody in the ear for no reason.
