Big review in today's independent under the title 'U2 Saviours of the music industry?' Haven't read it yet.

Annoyingly though, Bono seems to get away with anything. We cringe at the Bunnymen's (Mac's rather) collaboration with the Spice Girls or Chris Martin, first it was Band Aid (fair enough) and then this happens.

It's an exclusive!! Tony will have the new U2 album "No Line on the Horizon" on Friday at 2.30pm, before any other radio station in Ireland, so if you're a U2 fan, or just curious to see what their new material is like, make sure to tune in at 2.30pm on Friday 20th February... Tony will kick off the show with three tracks from the album.

The album has been online for days to download...... lol

well here it is -

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/will-u2-be-the-saviours-of-the-music-industry-1626579.html

though the front of the actual section of the actual paper - the Arts & Books Section - has a full page picture that may or may not be familiar - shows four blokes, including one in a funny little hat, stood on what may or may not be a beach, with their backs to the camera.

Good review.Nothing there to make me buy it or change my mind that they have been very average after Unforgettable Fire.Madonna with chunky guitars.Substance over form.

I actually blame the fall of the music biz on the man(or woman) who signed Menswear.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Ive already got a copy
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Definitely not HUH! No way!

I also have a copy of the album, have only listened to a couple snippets of songs, just can't do it. I really can't stand Bono, I think he's the worst part of the band without a doubt. I'm sure U2 fans would disagree. Edge can make some cool sounds but as soon as Bono starts singing I just have to turn it off.
