I honestly think Pork Is Mine wrote a better review. The Indie was boring and the Telegraph had the big gay British dancing prancing of "Oh, look at how clever I am!"

Actually, I think his voice would sound more like Stewie Griffin from Family Guy. Same difference I guess.

guitarplayer on here too wrote:Not neccessarily. A DVD of the gig is likely in 2009, given that it was being filmed. My hope is that they will release it with The Fountain. So they will be able to watch it in the comfort of their own homes at possibly less than half of the ticket price.

The Gig was not filmed for a DVD, yes there was two small video digital cameras in the Arena recording, one would assume for use in a promo video but certainly not for a DVD release...........

But the gig was recorded for maybe a future CD release...........

Also am with Smiffy on this I thought the Ocean Rain set was simply superb and the sound mix sounded great from my vantage point.....

And Finally My Kingdom has never sounded better.....

from the independent:

Band leader and vocalist Ian McCulloch donned a cape that fluttered gently in some artificial breeze.

I thought that there was a large camera behind the sound/mixing desk in the arena. But it was a distance away. Oh well, they have missed another opportunity there then.

Ocean Rain sounded fantastic! They should be quite proud.

there was a camera behind the sound desk and another two cameras half way down the hall on either side of the hall ..

There was also a guy with a camera on the stage behind Will

Even though I was little way from the arena, I noticed the camera tripod for one of the smaller cameras but it was the other one behind the sound desk that got my notice as it did look too large to be considered a small digital camera. That said, I didn't even know the band had changed into suits during the OR set so maybe my eyes were decieving me.

As I said there was cameras there but according to Will there is no plans to release it as a DVD...... But as I said the Gig was recorded.....

Also as a golden rule if your gonna film a gig play two nights...... Especially if your using an Orchestra for the first time.....

Maybe, they will incorporate footage from all 3 shows for any kind of
special DVD release of this historic show. It would be nice to be able
to have this one to watch again.

Alternatively, play the same set over and over again for three+ hours until everything is perfect and edit the best bits together. That did actually happen for a Bjork DVD release in 1998. And there was an audience as well that had to endure the same set over and over again.
