haven't heard it but it is acoustic definately. With Les on acoustic bass. Its to be released under the name Will Sergeant (which I think is the first time Will has released solo under his own name?)

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I guess it will be the first time it is by Will Sergeant.

The more I hear of this album, the more interesting it sounds. This is kind of the Bunnymen concept/white album that I'd hoped would have been recorded about ooh, ten years ago.

Will has released many things under his own name. Themes for Grind, Weird as Fish/Le Via Luonge and Favourite Branches come to mind.

It will be interesting to hear acoustic songs from him.

I think bf hates acoustic.

I think that is really cool news, personally. I can't wait to hear it. I'm more excited for this than an actual Bunnymen album.

That Darth Vader NOOOOO never fails to crack me up. One of the worst (and best?) scenes in all the Star Wars films.

As far as I know it is just instrumental. I'll know more before the end of the week

I wouldn't be surprised if Will finds a way to layer acoustics in an interesting way - or even comes up with lines as memorable as Killing Moon - still would rather hear more electronica.

Why not a mix of both? I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. I really hope the production is a little better on this one.

Sounds fascinating. Will they do anything live with it? Supporting the Wild Swans maybe?
