When does Mac choose to use that ear piece? Larger venues? I haven't seen him wear it since the 90's.

Yeah, I don't remember him ever wearing one.

I'm guessing Mac didn't show up at the Beauty Bar? Did any of the other band members go?

This is a great question!! We wondered the same thing here & what actually happened at the Beauty Bar. We stopped over there. We saw Mr. Brian at the door talking to the doorman. I almost yelled out the window of Pete's car to signal him but, it was like bad karma in that, Pete's cell rang & we had to go b/c he was summoned for a work snafu. Figures.... Yet, I'm sure all had a blast there.

I wonder what happened to the blue curtain that was lit-up w/ lights that resembled stars?

Pete & a couple of our male friends that came too, asked about the Orchestra & how they were even chosen too?

Pete made a funny comment about their outfits at RAH & RCMH but, all in all, he commented how "hot" the women were. Smile.

After reading several threads & posts related to the events which occurred it seems like all of you that met-up had a great time.

Mac didn't go to the beauty bar, but then he typically doesn't come to the Will DJ parties. I did see Ste and Paul and Gordie at the Beauty Bar too, but not till later. not sure if Nick (the drummer) made it over.

Yup, this is the first time I've seen him wear the ear piece since the 90's. Maybe he did it this time so he'd stay in tune. Or maybe they were feeding him dirty jokes through it. Or the ball game broadcast.

i don't really get the question...........we all did!

everyone who reads this board knew where and when we were meeting for each event. it was all posted here so everyone could attend. no one was in charge of calling people, and no one needed a personal invite. (that's why we post it here) everyone that was coming said so on the board anyway, pretty much, so there was no need to call each other ahead of time to let people know we are going. it's just not something people do. sure, people who were meeting their friends in the city, or those that were all staying at the same place obviously called or PM'd each other to arrange where to meet if they wanted to meet up before the 'meet'...just like you arranged to travel with your friend Pete G and/or co-workers, or whomever else was with you. but as for other than that, there's really no need. or am i missing the point??

Yes. he did. his name is Paul Flemming. he told me it was the end of his Bunnymen days. he said it was the best show he has ever performed with the band. it's been 6 good years he said, and time for him to move on. (not sure if he will play Echo Arena, he may be committed to that, not sure, but there's time for someone else to learn keyboard parts in 2 months if he's not, i'm sure) (he also said he was leaving a year ago, and didn't. maybe he was just waiting for these shows to be over first, coz really, you wouldn't wanna get a new line up before something like this!)

Mac didn't even go to the Radio City after party in the downstairs bar, either. he doesn't usually come out of the dressing room. :confused:

the other guys usually always go to Will's DJ sets. they all did this time. :-)
(i think Nick was there too...i think.. i know Ste Paul and Gordy were.)

yeah, i know the subway map is too small...i couldn't be bothered getting my glasses out half the time and just read the one at the station, or on the train after i got in! :lol:

i meant to pick one up while i was there, and forgot.
