It's strange that Mac never seemed to keep listening to new music or discovering old music he didn't know. His interviews are always still Cohen, Sinatra, Bowie etc. The same as the mid 80's. It's as if his original influences are fairly exhausted and he's got nothing new to take their place except Coldplay! Coldplay shouldn't even be on Mac's radar. It's no wonder it gets samey and bland.

I had a bug once, cleared up eventually. Went through a whole pack of toilet rolls though.

That's why I keep you at arms length.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Someone on here mentioned that their concert set lists are practically the same year after year. I haven't see them since March 1984 and hope to catch them this time around on their U.S. Tour. Does this mean that I can expect roughly the exact same songs will be played as 30 years ago?

Pretty much, yes. Check out the set list from the December gig that someone posted.

"Set List, as retrieved from the stage for those interested:
Lovers on the Run
Do It Clean
Never Stop
Crocodiles
Silver
Seven Seas
My Kingdom
Thorn Of Crowns (on set list but they didn't play it - shame, a personal fave of mine)
Bedbugs and Ballyhoo
Rust
Zimbo
Holy Moses
Rescue
Dancing Horses
The Killing Moon
The Cutter
Encore 1
Nothing Lasts Forever
Lips Like Sugars
Encore 2
The Back Of Love/Ocean Rain (as on set list but Back of Love not played)"
