September 16, 2008, wildly influential Brits Echo & the Bunnymen will perform their classic Ocean Rain LP in its entirety alongside a full orchestra at London's Royal Albert Hall. Each and every track, from the shimmering "Silver" to the soaring "Killing Moon" to the epic title track, will be done up with strings and laid out by the recently reformed post-punkers.

So 11 years counts as recently reformed?

Got it! The big question ... any tips for the best place to sit in the auditorium? Or is every seat good?

And anybody know any good, cheap hotels in Manhattan? I found a few possibilities, but I'm open to suggestions

Try this link for seating ideas, you can click on an area of the venue and you get a picture of the view.

I fancy a front Mezz seat.

So I guess it's not exclusive anymore?

At first I thought someone leaked the info, but the password is stated on bunnymen.com for those who are not mailing list members.

http://www.bunnymen.com/Radio_City.html

I've given up trying to make sense of that place.

But, I do wish he would stop referring to Radio City Music Hall as Radio City. That sounds like some old Clash song.

You're right FHG, they did put the password on the link. Where is the benefit of being on the mailing list? Oh well, we shall all be happy soon.
