Well yeah, I know what you mean VB. But I meant really young, like kids. Like I was when I first saw the bunnymen back in 1984...

Some of my daughter's mates from college went to the gig in December, she said they really enjoyed it.

She of course did the sensible thing and went to Gogol Bordello with me.

I thought Gogol Bordello was perhaps an Italian opera singer. I just did a google and it turns out they are a gypsy punk band. I think you must be the hippest on the forum, Doctor C.

Gogol Bordello are a fantastic live band, you should make the effort to see them if you get the chance.

I think alot of young whippersnappers are quite open minded about music these day. More than I ever was anyway. Also at the o2 in oxford theres a crowd that just goes to see a band whoever they are, and then stay for the discoteque after. Its quite a night. Mind you last time I went (wedding present) I had a bit of an argument with a bouncer. To be fair he was only doing his job, though that entailed telling us to hurry up whilst we were in the queue for our coats. I only pointed out that the rate determining step was the how fast the lady in the cloakroom could move and therefore he was wasting his time shouting 'move along quickly now ladies and gentlemen purleeeeese' and really ought to go shout at the aforementioned lady. He told me I was being disrespectful and I said no offence mate but I know how to stand in a fucking queue. He walked away and mrs fc was a bit embarrassed by my behaviour.
