I hope they (or should I just say Mac?) seriously re-think the name of the album. It's crap.

I'd rather see Porcupine live in a decent venue (not the academy) than get a new album. Let's face it, judging by Will's comments regarding his lack of input, it's just going to be another Fountain. Does anybody want another Fountain? I suppose we all inwardly wish for another 'classic', but it's not going to happen. The last bunnymen classic album was Ocean Rain. 30 years ago.

I'd love to be wrong, of course.

Just been sorting through some EATB CD singles and found a postcard inside of "I Want To Be There When You Come"
On the back it says "Please complete below to receive information on forthcoming releases from Echo & the Bunnymen"

It's a PO Box in Welwyn Garden City, is it worth a postage stamp to see if they might be able to advise?

Definitely the Olympia in December, the cold is perfect for Porcupine, I swear there were two penguins stood next to me at the urinals that night.

Are you sure you wouldn't prefer the Phil? You wouldn't have to stand up then.

St George's Hall in May. I prefer summer gigs, although I know Porcupine is not very summery.

Plus, I'll probably be miles away next December.

I'll go with that, and EFC to parade the FA / Prem trophies on the steps before the gig.

Just saying, if no one else brought anything to the table then it really is Ian Mac and the other men.

P.s. Going back to an earlier post, I loved how cold it was in the Olympia. Didn't have to hold your coat the whole time.

Yes it was cold in the Olympia. But when the band took the stage I was transported to Paradise where it is perpetually warm and sunny. My shirt was soaked by the end of the show. The spell lasted for hours as I wandered the streets afterwards.

What I noticed in Liverpool was that no matter how frigid it was outside, the youngsters, particularly the women, wore nothing more than what they would on a summers evening. Bare arms, bare legs, not a coat in sight. A very hardy lot. To them the Olympia would be mild and pleasant.

Go with the flow.
