Sounds like you may not have met Mac.... but you lived his life... for more accuracy, end up in a drunken stupor for not only Friday and Sutuarday... but every other day ending in "y".

Hey what does "you've pulled" mean by the way?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

had a day out in the big london on saturday and while we were having a bit of lunch in trafalgar square one of the kids goes, 'that bloke over there looks familiar, but i dont know who he is'. So I have a look and he's disappeared in the crowd si I have to wandfer around a bit. And when I find him he's paul weller. or rather paul weller after a three week long bender, severe hair loss and between rather necessary trips to the dentist. Apart from that the likeness was uncanny.

In Portmeirion, that would probably count as an A-list celebrity.

I used to hang with Dick Van Dyke's nephew which gave me celebrity status in my hometown. I used to do autographs at the county fair.

To even attempt a reply would be superfluous.

I've just come back from the blast furnace that was Rhodes in August, serving behind the pool bar in our apartments was none other than tv's Mr. Potty Mouth - Charlie Brooker!

My missus reckons it wasn't really him on account of him being Greek and not speaking English very well but I know it was him!
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time
