We agreed to never mention the love that dare not speak its name again.

Thanks Jack.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Good to see this topic has more posts than Dave Smiths shitty Tramlines thread.

Maybe the newbies arent all that enthusiastic after all.

Say what now? Since when? Was there an announcement?

I was checking the BOF which I hadn't done in a while and saw a thread called "Peter Allen" that someone started and he makes an announcement there

For those of you who don't know I am hanging up the keyboard on Bunnymen.com and moving on to pastures new.
I have been involved with the Bunnymen on the internet one way or the other for over ten years and they have been a fantastic ten years.
I have taken Bunnymen.com as far as I can and the acknowledgement of the SXSW Best Music Website Award was the pinnacle for me.
I have been made to feel like part of the Bunnymen family and my travels and the people I have met (Red, Jason & Karen) I will never forget.
I will still be involved with projects alongside Will Sergeant but that's as far as it will go.
The hand over of the website to the new people will be a gradual one.
Oh and before people start rumours it was my choice to leave.

I think management would prefer that I be killed. Hey that is sort of like a death threat! Where's my award???

There's your award:

I didn't know that he had quit. That's a shame. We'll be lost with things to discuss.

Working for free probably gets old after ten years.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Just thinking about it get's me all choked up and that Green Day song "Time of Our Lives" song starts playing in my head....another turning point, a fork stuck in the road...
We need a sitcom style montage of all the good times now.

He forgot to mention that partnership with cafepress that he brokered.

That was some high powered wheeling and dealing that emphatically put the Bunnymen on the merchandise map.

I was quite jealous - I heard on the grapevine that they made a ton of money on those naff The Fountrain digital cameras, more than I made on the crotchless knickers. Those chinese workers slaved their arses off for me on my line of unofficial Bunnymen merchandise and we got nothing in return.
