That's because they were too dumb to give it a cool name like Crocodolphin.

Also, I'm sensing a bit of a tone vis a vis Sharktopus that I'm not sure I care for.

I'm sorry about my tone - but Sharktopus - a poorly CGIed half shark, half octopus creature terrorising people. I mean, what could be more naff, other than season 4 of Airwolf?

Ok, this is just too much now. Vehicle centered tv shows are an amazing concept alone - but when someone starts to slag Airwolf the gauntlet must be thrown down. what problem could you possibly have with the greatness that is Airwolf?

Airwolf season 4 - where can I start - restarting it up again on a shoestring budget, killing Dominic Santini off using an extra pretending he was Ernest Borgnine, having Stringfellow Hawke as a guest with his brother appearing out of nowhere and suddenly being able to fly Airwolf, when I thought he was still in the jungles of Vietnam being held by those treacherous commie ba***rds. Using old recycled film from the original series as they couldn't afford helicopter flying time. Changing the cast, changing what had happened before. All they needed was a few scenes with a person humming the theme tune and holding a fishing rod with a plastic model helicopter at the end of it. I was gobsmacked when that was shown on TV and still have nightmares about it today. It scarred me for life I tell you.

Shame Jan Michael Vincent turned to the bottle when they made season 4. A few years back he was a state. Don't think they'd let him near The Lady now.

That as depressing as watching Dick Clarke do the New Year's Countdown.

I vaguely remember watching Airwolf (I think I was more partial to Blue Thunder) for the first season or two. So did Stringfellow (what an awesome name, and that scene of him playing cello by a lake - breathtaking!) die? Or did they just leave him laying in the hospital bed?

I think he died shortly in his hospital bed after his well-fed and healthy brother had returned mysteriously from captivity in Vietnam. There was also the mysterious disappearance of two other main characters, that bloke in the white suit with the patch over his eye that ran the organisation that Airwolf belonged to and that cheeky woman that later joined the programme.

Blue Thunder... hmm. I prefered Airwolf. I think with this recent tacky A-Team film, the time is right for an Airwolf movie. No?

The time is always right for an Airwolf movie.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
