I guess I'll break my embargo as well. But I hope Mac doesn't recognise me after taking the piss out of him for so long.

I quite like it, good venue..... Standing downstairs and seated balcony upstairs.....

It's south of the Clyde in Gorbals, so only a five minute walk from the City Centre so handy for a beers....

That's why I said it could be a complete disaster, let's just hope the cringe factor isn't too high.

However, everyone is kidding themselves if they think they are going to hear Mac sing anything from HUH much less "A Promise" like he did when he was in his 20's. Those songs are meant to be yelped at times and have that operatic bellowing he was so good at then. They have really barely played anything from HUH in the last 10 years as I recall. I would be very surprised if he played any guitar either.

I would love to be wrong. Please prove me wrong Mac.

They've done Show Of Strength, With A Hip, Over The Wall, The Disease, All My Colours and the one time only A Promise. Ha, I'm surprised they've done so many.

I think everybody going to the shows will be there to see if he can recapture the magic of the yelp and howling that made the vocals on that album so successful. That being said, I'd try for the first two dates for the best chance of hearing anything close to succeeding.

Also, I doubt he'll play any guitar either. I despise that glued to the microphone pose he's developed.

If he lets go he'll walk right off the front of the stage. Fact!
(okay, not a fact - that gigantic airplane fan he keeps at the edge of the stage is the last line of defense)

That stage fan is quite important to Mac. It even has its own flip video on the BOF tourblog now.

The Aes Sedai do not do it for that very reason.

I am more a fan of EATB fans now than the band itself. Think I'll pass on these shows.

Wow, I guess hell has frozen over. I remember him saying quite a few times how he would never sing "Happy Death Men" or "Monkeys" again. If they make it to Japan, I too will stop my boycott and go see them.
