He forgot to mention without all the Mexicans.

Now Jack's intrigued.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

So Mac missed a flight, but he got to Australia? Do I understand that correctly?

So MAc misses the flight and cancel their festival slot. And then Mac gets on a plane and goes there.

Is this like missing a movie and going to the theater when it is closed?

http://www.theage.com.au/news/entertain ... 71289.html

IT WAS, to say the least, a bad omen. Less than 24 hours before the festival began, organisers announced Echo & the Bunnymen would not be playing the Laneway festival and that Melbourne trio Midnight Juggernauts would be the replacement.

Yet by Saturday afternoon, most of the 8000-strong crowd who packed out the streets and, ahem, lanes surrounding the Footscray Community Arts Centre appeared to have shrugged off the cancellation and settled in for a day of indie-rock music.

They had two dates in Sydney. This is the original schedule. The first date was rescheduled to Feb. 2 at a smaller venue, and Brisbane and Melbourne (1) were cancelled. Since there's been no reports of them cancelling the Jan. 31 Sydney, it appears he has arrived (finally) in Oz. And then he went on a walkabout with a didgeridoo right before he got on Oceanic Flight 815...

Well, this changes it a bit. It would seem he simply missed his plane. The article made it sound like it was the band's only reason for going was the one festival.

I guess I over analyzed a missed flight a bit much.

What did you mean by that? Were you comparing this forum to golf?

Or was it that "par" on a golf "course" is the average number of strokes a golfer needs to get the ball in all the holes; "par for the course" is what is usual and expected. Example: "Things don't always work out as we want in life, and that's just par for the course; we do our best and go on." We should not get too bothered when things happen that are par for the course, because they are regular parts of life.

and what do you mean by over analyzing "everything"? Do you really thing that "over analyzing everything" is "what is usual and expected here"?

And what is "expected"? If this truly is a "forum without rules", then why are there expectations?

VilliersTerrace.com has revamped the theory of subscriber communities. The power shifts factor is social-network-based. What does the term "infomediaries" really mean? Our technology takes the best aspects of Python and J2EE. We think that most one-to-one portals use far too much JavaScript, and not enough ASP. Our feature set is second to none, but our user-centric e-commerce and user-proof use is constantly considered an amazing achievement. What does the term "sticky" really mean? Our functionality is unmatched, but our B2B2C frictionless implementation management and non-complex use is frequently considered a terrific achievement. Quick: do you have a best-of-breed game plan for regulating unplanned-for web-readiness? The power shifts factor can be summed up in one word: global. Imagine a combination of J2EE and Perl. Think dynamic. Think B2B. Think enterprise. But don't think all three at the same time. Do you have a scheme to become resource-constrained?

Yes. He was on Oceanic Flight 815. Sawyer's nickname for him was "Cokebottles McCombover"
