What, they paid the designer with three cheers? Daylight robbery. I would have demanded four.

Now that is just damn right silly.

   I actually did lol at that - well it was more of a chuckle, but I think it still counts.

That single cover might give me nightmares. The font is cool, the picture is sort of neat? But overlaying pictures of Will and Ian's head on it just isn't a good idea. Especially lame that they were pictures already used from Siberia.

I submit that what gives you the Nazi vibe is not the color scheme, but rather the eagle on top of the fountain. What do you think?

I concur. Sieg heil mein führer to that. You might be a fan of the Bunnymen, but some of your national socialism policies for the fatherland leave a lot to desired Herr JackT.

Love The Fountain cover, hate the single cover as well (it's really cheesy). Least favorite cover of Flowers vs. Siberis - definitely Flowers.
If they made t-shirts of The Fountain cover, I would buy it.

My thought exactly. Very nazi. All of it. Only then I realised it's not an eagle on top, it's an angel with spread wings (?). But yes, as someone mentioned, very Creation Records indeed.

Oh and FYI the nazi colour scheme for the swastika-arm-thing was red, black and white...

The Bunnymen are a little late jumping on the bandwagon but it worked out okay for Joy Division and all and people still seem to like Prince Harry.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

LOL

Though you have to give the Buns credit for combining the two. Creation + Nazi, not Prince Harry...

These covers are pathetic. A graphic design student or a mother into scrapbooking could have done better.

Blinki, were you the one who posted some fabulous ideas for covers over on BOF? Or was it Watercolors? I can't remember. Those ideas were 1000 times better than these.

It's obvious this album is getting the short shrift. To reuse the photos from Siberia because they couldn't be bothered posing for new photos and/or they couldn't be bothered paying for new photos is a sin. And if they didn't want to pose and/or pay, then why not use some photos we've never seen before?

Gak.
