The Radio City Show meetup...planning ahead

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

(all my UK friends have loved it) in fact, shaz and dave went back a 2nd time in one trip! good place to have a decent (cheap) lunch in the city. the burgers and fries are fabulous, and huge, and cheap!! like $5 or something unheard of like that. and you get 2 beers, when you order one. they only serve their own beer...but it's good stuff. the old pot belly stove and sawdust on the floor makes you feel like yer in an old saloon in the 1800's! one of my fave places. (it's right around the corner from St Marks Place, so check that out while yer down there too)

That looks great! Maybe a possibility for the night before. Added to the list...

Preliminary Itinerary for Mr. Brian and blackfrancis:

-Take in a matinee of Legally Blonde: The Musical

-Head down to Central Park to see The Dakota. While there:

--Go on a carriage ride
--Get a portrait of the two of you done by a sketch artist in the park
--share a pretzel

-In the evening, head down to South Street Seaport and walk along the water. Get a nice meal while you're there.

-Share an ice cream cone.

-Head over to the Villiage for a few drinks at a nice piano bar.

-Head home and dream of a day filled with shared memories that will last a lifetime.

yeah, it'd be great for that. i wish i could make that, but by the time i land at JFK it'll feel like midnight due to the time change, and then til i could even get to the city it'd be probably 9 or 10...i'd be dead for the gig the next day. as much as i wanna come, i'll have to pass.

I've decided to write a musical number entitled "Preliminary Itinerary". I'm not sure how it goes yet, but I'm pretty sure it's sung by two tap-dancing guys with canes.

A 'waaaaay off Broadway' show. A cult-classic for future generations
to experience, appreciate, and certainly say, WTF, ha ha.

Man, I can't keep up with this board; you guys are too fast for me.

Anyway, yeah, add me + me husband to the list of NY attendees. We are on the floor.

If you guys are heading to the village to go to McSorleys, also check out Swift (34 E. 4th street off of Lafayette, i think). It's pretty close to mcsorley's, so perfect for pub-hopping.
