The interview shouldn't last long. Introducing dissent or original thought into the idyllic bunny world the BOF has created, while admirable, is a short-lived venture.

Bunny-wunny-Q-T-pie has come in saying people should all disregard old Bunnymen members because this is the new Bunnymen. And The Fountrain is better than anything that they have ever done, ever. She's stark raving mad. Someone should tell her before someone gets hurt.

Don't think Froggy Bunnyman meant to write:

Vive He has left the band !
Vive Reverberation !

I can half way understand (though not agree with) banning any mention of villiers terrace from the site but what did poor Noel Burke ever do to them?

Even Mac seems to feel a bit for the guy:

AD: Going back a bit now, when you left the band, what did you think when the remaining Bunnymen decided to get Noel Burke in as a replacement?

IM: I think it's pretty obvious what I think. Noel Burke...the name says it all really doesn't it? No, that's not fair. It wasn't his fault, it was Will and Pete who were the berks really. But no, I thought it was disgraceful and after that I suppose it was quite surprising that I continued working with Will after that. I'm glad I did though. Johnny Marr called them Echo and the Bogusmen when that happened.

"The new Bunnymen?", she sounds like Tony Blair, watch out Iraq.

Why do you think it's a woman? I picture one of you guys posting the crap and having a great big laugh, which is okay with me.

That's exactly what's going on.

Apparently Noel Burke is no longer a bad word or rather NEVER WAS according to the administrator.

"Why would we ban his name ? Noel Burke has never had his name banned or any discussion about the band from that era also.

Plus its not a HUGE can of worms or even a small can, its fine to discuss Reverberation.

I have lots of fond memories travelling with the band up & down the country in the back of a transit van on tours. Very good memories."

I'll bet they all sat down in a conference room with their PowerPoint presentations and discussed the Noel Burke issue. Then they broke for light lunch and made their decison after much debate.

American management and UK management were of course included in the meeting.
