General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

That'd be shit.

I do think there is cahooting going on  For the fan sale, I don't remember there being as many seating options as are listed today -- including a pit ticket option. Not that I'd want 'em there either. The Wiltern, yes, RCMH, nope.

What seats come up seems to be completely random, tho I wonder if there's some kind of weighting going on in the search engine so the best seats (i.e. the double letter central area) rarely come up. That is, the few good seats that haven't already been snatched up ahead of time by these ticket resellers. Also, how many of the best seats were doled out in advance or are earmarked for the promoter, the promoter's pals and various other entities?

One of the many reasons why I like general admission shows. There, it just comes down to snaring a front row spot and holding onto it

The one and only thing Pearl Jam ever got right was taking those fools on.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

No way you can crush Eddie "I don't want to be popular or famous but I'm going to release albums and glossy MTV videos so often you can set your watch to it" Vedder. But he's still a notch higher than Metallica in my book for fighting the good fight.

I didn't think they'd done any videos since their first album.
Or maybe I didn't care to look after the first album.

Yes. Even Eddie Vedder couldn't fight Ticketmaster.

The next time folks are hoping for a future where the Bunnymen play all the big halls and such they should keep this ticket crap in mind. General admission is so much easier.

Like Mac's 2003 solo show. I could have humped his leg he was so close. And he was in EXCELLENT form so I considered it.

I think it was the Key Club but a bunch of sissy mixed drinks prevent me from being sure.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances it's looking like I may be going to this after all! I was just thinking it would be quite a challenge to get all the proverbial ducks in a row on this one with money and logistics, etc. My wife's been talking about how to get the kids taken care of for a few days and looking on Expedia and our SkyMiles for flights and hotels.

Yay. Bunnymen were always an Autumn band for me and NYC is great that time of year too. Yay again. I can't wait to meet some of you as well.

He said he was looking forward to meeting SOME of us. Let us hope you are one of them, Moondance.
