It doesn't really seem fair at all. I understand your frustration Red.

That's pretty shitty for fans of the band. Danzig presale of tickets were to make sure fans who supported the band, took part in the forum, etc. got the best seats possible ahead of the general public. I have no idea what this was all about. Getting the crap seats out of the way by pretending we were getting first dibs?

That's cause you talk way too much shit Jack. You think that didn't factor into your ticket selection?

I love my seats.

I can't wait to sell them on Ebay when I realize I can't really see a show in NYC on a Wednesday.

I got that e-mail too from Live Nation. I didn't get see it until 3 hours after that presale started so there were no orchestra seats even available when I looked. But I went up there just now to take a stab at the public sale and a couple minutes before 10 they were still accepting the promoter password and must have already released the seats for public sale because I was able to get better Orchestra seats. Still in ORCH 2, as I was before - but upgraded from Row J to Row GG! There must have been some kind of fluke because the promoter presale was listed to end at 9 pm last night.

Cool Jack! :-) where are you sitting now?

i did a search a minute ago too and got offered better seats than the ones i was offered during the pre-sale yesterday. (and the fan club pre-sale) it doesn't make sense.

i do know that if you select a section, rather than 'best available', you get better seats. the best available ones are NOT the best ones. that just cracks me up. every time i play around on the site the seats are worse when i select best available.

they're assholes at Ticketbastard!

Something fishy is definitely up. I still couldn't get anything closer than E in the 3 center sections? It's like there is an invisible vortex around that area, and who knows who those tickets were offered to? The bright side is that my seats are closer than when I saw eatb there 20 years ago.

well, E 3 isn't TOO bad compared to a lot of what i've been getting while searching. it's about 3 rows closer than us, but on the opposite side. but i know where you're coming from. where are all the double letter 300-400-500 seats at?? i got offered row ZZ once when i searched for 'orchestra' today, but it was in the 700 section, so that sucks. and then when i searched for 'best available' i got offered row U. so if you just got offered row E then they lied about the 'best available' being in row U (at 10:15 am), but that's not a shock, is it?? i just don't get how they do it. it makes no sense.

i was offered row D section 300 in the first mezz when i searched earlier at 10 am, and those are way better than the ones they were offering me during the fanclub pre-sale the first time i checked after i got back from Chicago. you'd think they would have given the band's own website fan club pre-sale the BEST seats.....but hell no!
and was anyone EVER offered a Pit seat when you searchewd? (not that i would WANT one, i wouldn't) but i don't think they ever offered them to anyone....yet they're all over Stubhub.com. either the promotors are keeping them for themselves and making some bucks, or ticketbastard are in cahoots with the scalpers! there's no other explanation!

god! do the fans EVER get any good seats any more, unless they
pay thru their ass to one of these brokers or scalpers?
