That would be just pathetic like some 80's revival thing. Let the Bunnymen be the Bunnymen even if it is just Mac with Will riding shotgun, no reason to bring someone else's sound in that's already identifiable.

So you think a couple of full fledged members offering their input wouldn't help or you're opposed to a Bunnymen supergroup? Or both?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

That's too bad cause I heard David Coverdale was looking for work.

Well maybe if Chris Squire and Vinny Appice are looking for work.

I doubt it, the new Whitesnake album has gone straight into the UK album chart at no.7.

That would finally fulfill my fantasy of the Bunnymen doing a cover of Holy Diver at least

Indeed, it's pretty good too. Mac could learn a thing or two from Coverdale - I'm not talking about twirling his mike stand in the air like a marching band leader or charging around the stage like a teenager screaming "SLIDE IT IN ..." but in terms of enthusiasm, effort and actually having a good time and engaging with the audience Coverdale is fantastic. And he's nearly 60 for fuck's sake!

My idea of a real band would be Mac and Will and the Comsats as the backing group that would be awesome.

Never saw Ronnie Dio live with Black Sabbath but seeing Iron Man (because my son wanted to) made me realize Black Sabbath's original lineup was a GD good band!
