Or a nice kick to the huevos
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

First Bunnymen album I bought the day it came out, and I still really like it. Would spin it as much as Heaven Up Here and Ocean Rain.

Shite cover, mind you.

Best bunnymen album since ocean rain in my expert opinion. Good tour too. Saw them at Manchester Academy.

or to quote scouser's mate, its just jingly jangly shite. JOshing obviously. I think expectations were high because the had hugh wossname back in production and will said it was like HUH, or was it crocodiles. A few songs are quite good but no stunners. Ultimately a bit of a disappointment. Was this album that had a video with mac on a swing?

Scouser's mate was right.

My favourite song on Siberia is Of a Life.

If people are expecting the Bunnymen to make another album like Heaven Up Here, they are delusional and setting themselves up for disappointment after disappointment. The Bunnymen are not that band now. That is not where they are at. They are basically a new band starting at Evergreen, and I'm actually surprised they retained so many fans of their prime. They aren't necessarily a bad band Evergreen and after, just completely different than their prime IMO.

I've been saying it for years but they just cannot write a complete song anymore. It's either a great verse or a great chorus but almost never both. Except for All Because of You Days which is perfect.

I think the problem, which Will alludes to in the Dancing Horses DVD, is that the songs used to be jammed out in rehearsal rooms and nowadays, Mac brings them in and tells Will what to play.

The songs seem that way. Too adult contemporary. I think most of us here agree that the songs need Will's freaky input.
