Sounds great. Were Black Submarine any good?

And what is that review all about? Isn't it about time the French just gave up that language and started to speak English?

Besides we've taken all the best words anyway, the rest is just nonsense.

Ace night out.

Very good gig ! Not incredible for me... but much better than expected.
Mac's voice was back ! Fab singing...
Highlights for me : killing moon (always a classic but when it's played like this, I remember it is really a masterpiece). The cutter, magical. All that jazz, lips and nocturnal me too :-)
Regarding new songs : météorites and lovers on the run are good. Constantinople average. Holy Moses = holy shit. Real SH..
Will played greatly on 1\3 of songs. Not involved in the rest that much but seemed in good mood.

Well, I still love this band very much... !!
But some of the new songs are hard to listen to, coz' they are so crap. What a waste.

NB
English guys in the restaurant "au pied de vigne" before the show were funny.
To the logical limit

I have to disagree with Froggy Bunnymen, there are four or five great songs on the new LP. Constantinople, Is This A break Down, Grapes Upon The Vine and Market Town are very good tunes. But I must admit the two weakest songs for me are Lovers On The Run and Holy Moses, I really don’t like Holy Moses. But Constantinople is just a Fucking Rocker and Will is Brilliant on it. I hope they play Constantinople when they play Detroit August 11th.

Froggy, check out the video that I posted above. There were a few guys behind me talking (in English) about the new album and one was saying that he wasn't so wild about the new album but he was happy to hear the staple songs. Heard a couple English guys whooping it up before the show started but maybe they had moved somewhere else because it was perfect where I was standing (over on Will's side). Still thinking about how fantastic shows are in Paris as compared to the other places I've seen them at.

Holy Moses did sound like a children's rhyme live but I could get through it. Constantinople, no.

I love the second little guitar solo that they now play late on in The Killing Moon.

There are plenty of very good videos from Paris on YT, by a guy called Cyrille. Sort by date of upload and there you go.

No Black Sub but the opening band in Paris was tragic. Another one with a girl singer.

Just watched Ocean Rain video of the Bunnymen live in Paris from Monday night on Youtube. At one point when Will does his solo Ian points to him and salutes him then a few seconds later walks over to him and says something to him. Could it be that Ian is finally appreciating what a genius guitar player Will is, maybe just maybe. Here is the link see below.
