It's nice to be excited about something EATB related.

I'd certainly go and see this band live. I think I've seen the Bunnymen enough times already. 2009, 2010 and 2011 and it was all good. But really are they going to be any different the next time?

Yes! they will probably be worse than when you saw them in 09, 10 and 11. :)

Nothing will beat the Crocodiles/Heaven up Here tour. That was truly magnificent.

That was the only time I've ever seen them, and I'd love to have another go around since Mac's solo gigs were trashed. Shame since I enjoy the Cathedral cd.

Ocean Rain at the Philharmonic hit the heights as well.

I consider this the Will fan forum already... It just needs to be named accordingly.

Sad when the band's singer gives you nothing to cheer about, isn't it?

So far the Poltergeist thing sounds like it'll do better than Ian solo artistically... Just don't know what to think about the next Bunnymen album, if there'll be one.

Because in our world The Three Stooges are more than appropriately named.

Will seems to be pushing himself artistically whether one likes his art or not. I can't emphasize enough how cordial and humble he was at the art show. It made quite an impression on me as I have to deal with celebrity quite frequently in my line of work and the egos I have to deal with from those with 1/10th the talent or class of Will is appalling.

Unfortunately Mac seems to be truly floundering. I mean how bad do things need to be to be dumped by Pete and Peasy especially when I think one is his best friend. Cancellations of the US solo shows, the odd delays in what I consider to be a very mediocre solo album and the erratic behavior all point to things getting worse before they get better. Wish it wasn't so but that's the hand Bunnymen fans have been dealt.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I doubt it'll do better sales-wise, just because the band will be instrumental and probably not on a major label, but I hope it does really well.

I saw a brief article about the new band and Will mentioned it would sound a little bit like Mogwai which is pretty interesting.
