lol. it is v slow though, all that rich media content, ahem, that they use. hey sometimes have those flash things that slide in from one side and have a 'close' button thats about one pixel wide.

so here's a couple of retro reviews from the BBC site. Not sure these are that historically accurate (was simmo ousted, I htought he just left, haven't read head on for years) and neither give a song-by-song - mainly the history such as its presented.

on another note, apart from the label and the crucial three angle, is there much to compare between buns and teardrops? My point being that these two 'reviews' make something of this but I'm not sure theres that much to compare and contrast musically, but then I've hardly heard any teardrops - never cared for them or copes solo stuff (voice gets on my nerves v quickly) I've heard so never delved that far, but obv you lot will have an opinion.

Totally agree, I can't listen to it at all, without Mac it's not the Bunnymen

I have to say I'm quite fond of it, though it's not in the same league as the two Euphoric 12"/CDs released by the Mac-less Bunnymen, those are classics.

Interesting how Reverberation is always listed in the band`s discography but the Electrafixion album isn`t. Since there are now 5 post Les EatB albums, Ian and Will have made as many albums as Ian/Will/Les. Arguably Burned is more an Echo album than Reverberation.

Some interesting surprises: On RateYourMusic.com, Electrafixion Burned is the highest rated "EatB" album after their 1st four classics, scoring a full ten points higher than Siberia and WAYGTDWYL, which are tied for 6th place. Reverberation would be their lowest rated album, except for beating by one miserable point... Meteorites!! Go figure. (All this as of 13 Sept 2014)

I have a fantasy that one day while performing on stage as the Bunnymen they throw in a suprise and play Never, Lowdown or Sister Pain. I'd love to hear Electrafixion live!
