You sure you weren't temporarily blinded -- and hypnotized -- by Mac's bald spot?

Perhaps this is Peter's new secret weapon.

To be a really true die hard adoring loving Bunnymen fan you have to hate them -- the bunnymen that is not the newbies

If their last album wasn't so shite and the band performed a better mix of songs live, methinks hate (or should that be anger?) would have been in a minority. Then this forum would indeed be like BOF and we'd all be newbies getting aroused below at seeing yet another performance of The Cutter on Youtube while rounding the evening off with Drivetime being put on repeat on your CD player and being played twelve times in quick succession.

Totally agree - (wingokenda) and far from being an 'enthusiastic newbie', I've been watching Bunnymen concerts (for my sins) since 81. Seen the good the bad & lots of the ugly, but as Dave says - Sheffield deserved to be applauded - it was a great gig - full of passion - the band were in sync & really attacked every number - it was great to see. OK maybe traditional festival setlist - but when it sounded that good who cares ?

No. It is a well-known fact that people with odd names are probably related to somebody else with an odd but only vaguely similar name.

You're not still mad about the Depeche Mode thread are you? That was a one time deal never to be repeated.

Are you talking about the time you and Scouser cried about Depeche Mode together? There's no coming back from that one, I'm afraid.

Apparently the newbies aren't aware we threaten people with death here. Peter made that same mistake and look where it got him. A SXSW award. We showed him.

I wonder how that investigation is coming.

Well it's been turned over to the Bunnymen's lawyers which I'm sure is code for Pete and Peasy so I'd say arrests are imminent.

I never got a death threat. Since Peter Allen is moving on I was going to see if he wants to come aboard as a consultant at VT and get us a Webby and a SXSW award for the display case in the lobby of VT Headquarters.
