Disgusting.

Was there anybody of note in the crowd? Family members? Etc.?

Voodoo Billy wrote:That's a bit hard Dave. I thought there were some nice moments, good to hear the old guitar playing again as well, it's still there, 'somewhere'. I agree that he seems more at ease with a band (as at Zelig's) so maybe that's the way to go? Bit of an intimidating venue to play (more or less) solo as well. I think he needs a bit of care, he's still class though.

I agree, I think you're being a bit hard - I had a really good night and most people around me seemed to be enjoying it. I just wish he had kept the chat to between the songs

Thanks. I was wondering if she was still around. Apparently so -- she's not done with him yet.

Do they live with him in Liverpool now?

If so, why doesn't she get him to go to rehab??

If he went to rehab and got sober, he wouldn't be as controllable as when he's loaded. Like a little doggie on a leash.

If I was her, I'd get pregnant again right away. (Presumably with his spawn, but it doesn't really matter.) That would seal the deal.

Not this time, but eventually she'll be up there wailing away with him.

You think so? I remember him saying his wife lived through nightmares with him drunk and belligerent at home.

What do you mean by seal the deal - alimony? I doubt he has much money left between the drug problem and a whole other family to support. Or maybe you mean marriage? But he's already stuck with that chancer for life now thanks to Dusty Lou.

But he'll have to pass out at some point. If his brain's in a fog, it's easier to pull things over on him.

Right now with only one child, he could get the lawyers involved to work out a settlement (visitation, monthly child support). Think Jude Law or Mel Gibson. With two or more kiddies, it's harder to kick her to the curb. Too much guilt. That's when she'll show up on the next album, etc.

Ah, excellent points.

But I doubt she'll show up on an album being that he had her erased from his Wikipedia page.

Oh? That sentence stayed there a lot longer than I imagined it would!

How about she releases an album and he co-writes and co-performs the songs?

When he was "seeing" Eva Petersen back in 2005 (?), her band The Little Flames was scheduled to open for EATB for the Liverpool Christmas date, and then they weren't, and then they were. It was topsy turvy. In the end, they were the opening act.

I'm not sure how much longer he dated her after that.

Oh no, let's not give Miss Chancer any ideas! She probably reads this site.

Just Googled this Eva person - is she big in Liverpool? I've never heard of her. She looks pretty in some photos and not in others. I remember someone on here saying she was a heroin addict or that they were in the loos together or something dodgy??

But I thought Mac was living with another woman in 2005. How many people has he "dated" since his wife, that we know of?

hey, you lot are starting to sound just a teensie bit jealous. Go on, admit it, you wanted to have Mac's babies and now she's got in the way. I know I did but I'm to old now. Hey..... perhaps thats why we all had to be quiet? So we didn't wake the baby up. Well not me, I didn't go, but anyways......

BOF says it wa a brilliant night, witty jokes and all. v bad spelling though.

VB-he is class. But even class has to finish a song sometimes.I found most of it painful viewing tbh particlularly throwing that girl out as well. Not so long ago he would have been dismissed her with a quip and got on with it.

Extra thought-he had a continual go at a guy/girl who had a bloody cough for christ sakes.I thought he was going tio throw them out as well.Who coughs more than Mac himself? The whole thing just felt like a bit of contempt for the loyal fanbase from that email,to being under-rehearsed,to being pissed etc.etc.But hey-dont cough or you get chucked out.
Perhaps I am being hard but just remember when he left the stage there was total silence from the crowd. It took a good ten minutes for anyone to request more.

He should have done the Zeligs thing with Gordy and the band.

You can quite imagine their respective hubbies standing over their computers now asking why there are claw marks on the desk. I'm shocked though FC, you wanted Mac's babies? How would that be possible? Very Boy Georgish like, if you believe that recent Worried About the Boy TV show and his ability to turn straight guys. I suppose Mac was a good looking chap in his younger days, not that I'm into man love and all that.
